PHILIPPINE INTEGRATED EMERGENCY DISASTER ASSISTANCE DATABASE (PIEDAD) 1. A database project of Sentech Corporation in partnership with Yaramay Computer Services 2. A centralized database of emergency disaster assistance goods, services and financing (three kinds of donations) 3. Goods can include donations of food, clothing, emergency shelters, cooking fuels, emergency kitchens, etc. 4. Services can include donations of rental time, space or any form of free temporary use; this can include aircraft, yachts, speedboats, amphibians, drones, radios, buildings, warehouses, etc. 5. Financing can include cash, grants, endowments, subsidies, discounts, gift certificates, etc. 6. The government may request PIEDAD to assist in the distribution of goods and services 7. PIEDAD is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project of Sentech Corporation 8. Yaramay is a technology partner of PIEDAD 9. MUG Guardians is an NGO partner of PIEDAD 10. The Filipino Informer (TFI) is a print media partner of PIEDAD 11. Filipino Monitor (Filimon) is a social media partner of PIEDAD 12. Philippine Electronic Directory and Resource Organization (PEDRO) is an online directory featuring the mobile numbers and email addresses of companies and agencies 13. Donors (supply side) and beneficiaries (demand side) should register with both PIEDAD and PEDRO 14. PIEDAD and PEDRO will also publish the lists of drop-off and pick-up centers for donated goods 15. Yaramay will design, develop and deploy PIEDAD 16. MUG Guardians will collect information/gather data about communities/disaster sites that will need the assistance of PIEDAD 17. MUG Guardians will also pick up and deliver donations, as needed 18. TFI will publish offline requests/solicitations for donations to PIEDAD 19. Filimon will post online requests/solicitations for donations to PIEDAD 20. Aside from being a database, PIEDAD is also technically a business to business (2B2) electronic commerce (e-commerce) website except for the fact that all orders are for twenty pesos only, regardless of the cost of the order 21. By design, PIEDAD practically functions like a food bank, except for the fact that it also carries non-food donated goods 22. PIEDAD will solve the problem of the private sectors not knowing what to give, and the problem of the government not knowing exactly where to deliver the assistance 23. Aside from TFI and Filimon, other media partners are welcome to join. 24. TFI and Filimon will also coordinate medical missions
